The statistician who tracks HIV

In Uganda, Agnes Kirraga is an infectious disease specialist working on malaria, syphilis, HIV... and these days the coronavirus. In particular, she tries to merge the science of big data and machine learning in order to exploit healthcare big data. One of her current goals is to predict and prevent HIV infection among vulnerable groups, especially teenage girls and young women.
